This could be Milinkovic-Savic's final season as a Lazio player. His contract runs until June 2024, but the Rome board have accepted two offers for the player, who will have to decide on his future.
According to information by 'Sky Sport', the offers by PSG and Man Utd are for around 65 million euros. This season, he has scored 10 goals and given 12 assists and it seems like he will say goodbye to Lazio at the end of this campaign.
Nevertheless, his agent, Mateja Kezman, has fumed over comments he allegedly made. He has called it "fake news": "Sergej isn't short of offers for the summer transfer window. At this time, we're negotiating with Man Utd and PSG."
"He's focussed on the end of the season with Lazio, but Sergej wants to go to Manchester," Kezman, a former PSG player, concluded. However, he has denied he made these comments to 'Foot01'. The controversy has come out in the last few hours.
"It's completely fake news. I haven't given interviews recently. Some journalists are unbelievable! I'm very angry, it's a huge lack of respect towards me, Sergej and Lazio," he later told 'tuttojuve.com'.
In other news, 'Corriere dello Sport' says that Loftus-Cheek is the man chosen to replace Milinkovic-Savic at Lazio. He is reportedly negotiating with Chelsea and things are looking good ahead of the summer.
