Benzema and Morata could be in for fresh starts next season with both players the subject of serious interest from AC Milan.
The fallen Italia giants are doing everything within their power to bring in a least one, if not both of the strikers as they look to continue their restoration job.
The rumours of interest have existed for several weeks now, though there has been no official update on how negotiations are progressing.
Benzema is believed to see an opportunity to shine away from the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo following his move to Juventus, whilst Morata is thought to be optimistic of establishing himself ahead of Olivier Giroud at Stamford Bridge under Maurizio Sarri.
However, with both Chelssea and Real Madrid linked with big-money moves for new strikers, there is still tplenty of time for them to have a change of heart.
Morata has plenty of fond memories of Serie A following his time at Juventus, though Napoli are also thought to be tracking the former Real Madrid man.
According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', AC chiefs have already met up in Milan to discuss at least one of the deals, though the ideal scenario would see both goal-getters make the move to the San Siro.
Whatsmore, the aforementioned source also claims that Benzema's representatives have travelled to Milan to discuss a potential move.
Whilst incredibly difficult, the moves are by no means impossible and both deals could yet come to pass before the transfer deadline.
