Milan will try to speed up the movements of their squad in the run-up to the beginning of 2023. The priority is the renewal of Giroud. In addition, Mendy and Sportiello are on the Lombardy agenda due to Maignan's physical problems.

Olivier Giroud is giving a great performance at Milan and he proved it in the last World Cup in Qatar with France. For this reason, the Italian team want to prioritise the renewal of the French striker.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the Rossoneri have reached a verbal agreement with the French striker, as his contract expires in June 2023.

The same media outlet reported that Milan are also looking to reinforce the goalkeeping position due to Mike Maignan's ongoing physical problems. One of the names being considered is Edouard Mendy.

In addition, the prestigious journalist Di Marzio reported that another name being considered is that of Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello.
