Liverpool went against the Belgian's wishes and kept him as cover at Anfield, despite requests to be loaned out.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper has not made a Premier League appearance for the 'Reds' since January 1, when he featured in a 2-1 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor.
He was replaced by Loris Karius, however he was left feeling "bemused" that the club let him join Besiktas in the summer, however would not allow him follow suit.
Speaking this week on his current situation, Mignolet told 'Sky Sports': "I will go back to Liverpool and work hard.
"We have got the Huddersfield game to prepare for and I will always be there for the team.
"That's the only thing I can do at this moment. I am not thinking about my future at this moment in time.
"The only thing I can do is wait for my chance and work hard in training. I always try and be ready if I am playing or not playing.
"I always prepare myself in the same manner and when the opportunity comes along you have to grasp it."
It is understood that Mignolet will play in the domestic cup competitions for Liverpool.
Mignolet has featured just once for Liverpool this season, in the 2-1 Carabao Cup third round defeat to Chelsea.
