Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen believes that Jurgen Klopp's men will have learnt from failure, and backs them to go one step further this season.
"They are tailor-made for Europe, playing brilliant in the Premier League. I am sure they are going to win a trophy this year," he told 'BT Sport'.
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand also agreed with Owen and added: "It looks like it. They are doing very well."
Owen admitted that City could go all the way.
"Our (England's) teams are really at it," said Owen.
