There is not the best atmosphere in the Mexico camp two months out from the World Cup. The Mexicans have not been convincing in their last few games, but they are also suffering from off the field issues.
The latest was in the training session ahead of the friendly with Peru, a game which Mexico won 0-1. The Mexican Federation decided that the training session would take place behind closed doors to give the opportunity to the Californian crowd of seeing the Mexican players up close.
However, Mexico coach Gerardo Martino did not agree with this decision at all. The Argentine said that the training session would not be a productive as he would not be able to reveal certain tactics, but it ended up being more than a simple disagreement.
The coach decided to skip the session in protest and his assistants took charge of the session, 'TUDN' revealed. Martino reportedly took advantage to watch the friendly involving Argentina, one of their rivals in the World Cup, and Honduras.
