In an interview given to 'France Football', the Spanish player, Jordi Alba, had time to praise his teammate Lionel Messi, in addition to reviewing his role in the Barcelona squad.
"For me, Leo has not changed. Our relationship has always been the same, it's very good. Messi and I have been playing together for seven years. He made me a better footballer. He added more about Lionel Messi: "Every day surprises you. He used to be the best in the world and now he's even better. He is above all other players by a huge margin.
On his role in the Azulgrana team, he explained: "I like to make jokes and to maintain a great atmosphere in the dressing room. They spend a lot of time together and it's essential to have fun as well as fulfilling our profession. It makes everyday life more fun and enjoyable. The core of the team has been there for several years and now I'm one of the oldest. I grew up a lot in this club."
