Mbappe out for three to four weeks

Another piece of horrible news for Thomas Tuchel, who is seeing his list of injured players mount up at PSG. 'Le Parisien' are reporting that Mbappe will be out for close to a month due to the injury he picked up against Toulouse.

The victory was good news, but it came at a major cost for the Parisian outfit. The injury to their French star is a major blow to them.

According to the latest reports, Mbappe will be out for between three weeks and a month after pulling a muscle in his right thigh. He felt it straight away and his face told it all.

He suffered the injury in the 64th minute of the game. It was in a long run, Mbappe looked to get onto the ball and reached the by-line before overexerting himself and causing the injury.

This Monday, the club's doctors did tests on him which determined that Mbappe will be out for a notable period of time before returning to training with the rest of his teammates.

In principle, Mbappe will be out for three Ligue 1 matches including the tough trip to Lyon as well as PSG opening Champions League game.

Bad news also for Didier Deschamps, the French coach, who will not be able to count on one of his main men in attack for September's international fixtures.

France will host Albania and Andorra on 7th and 10th September in Euro 2020 qualifiers. Deschamps will announce his squad on 29th August.

PSG, in this way, have lost their golden trio upfront. Neymar, with his future still up in the air, is not being played by Tuchel, Cavani also got injured against Toulouse and Mbappe's injury at the Parc des Princes means all three are out.
