Mbappe names Arsenal as dark horses in Premier League title fight

The French forward, widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, suggested that Arsenal could be genuine contenders for the crown.
"Maybe Arsenal, maybe it will be their year," Mbappe said, highlighting the Gunners' recent form and the progress Mikel Arteta's side have made in building a squad capable of challenging the traditional heavyweights.
Despite this, the 26-year-old acknowledged that established giants Manchester City and Liverpool remain strong favourites. "It would certainly be easier to say Man City or Liverpool," he added, recognising the depth, experience and winning mentality of Pep Guardiola's and Arne Slot's sides, who have dominated English football in recent years.
Mbappe's observations come as the Premier League enters a season packed with intrigue and uncertainty. With Arsenal emerging as a serious threat, while City and Liverpool maintain their status at the summit, the race for the title promises to be one of the most competitive in recent memory.
