"Mbappe is not a violent guy; he's aware of his mistake"

Real Madrid assistant coach Davide Ancelotti assured Sunday that Kylian Mbappe, who was sent off with a straight red card, “is not a violent guy” and said the player asked for forgiveness.
The Italian said at a press conference that the Frenchman is “aware of the mistake he made” and considered that “it is a clear red card and he has paid the consequences.”
“The many small fouls that have been done to him, have caused him to react in this way, but I'm not justifying it,” he argued about the player's sending off.
He acknowledged that the victory gives them confidence for what is to come. Both winning La Liga and turning back the tie against Arsenal “are two difficult things, but he assured that they have ”the necessary clarity to be able to do it" and added that they will have to earn it.
"Some things have to go right. Everyone is convinced that we are going to try in both competitions," he said. Asked about his role as first coach, he said he enjoyed it “very much”, although he was “a little nervous at the beginning”.
"My father gives me a lot of confidence, he has always given it to me since I started. We've had communication, but he's let me manage the last few minutes. He has made me grow a lot that confidence and if I'm here now it's because of him," added Davide Ancelotti.
