Madrid are looking to continue to make Champions League history this season by winning their fourteenth European trophy. In order to achieve this, they will have to overcome Liverpool in this year's final. No easy feat. Casemiro faced the 'Real Madrid TV' cameras to express his feelings in the lead up to the all important match.
"I go into the final as if it were my first. We know what it's like at this club. The goal is to always win. To win the Champions League you have to overcome the hardest things. The most difficult match is still to come", he began.
As well as this, the Brazilian centremidfielder touched on the subject of Mbappe: "Mbappe is a great player. We were confident with him, but you have to respect his decision, good luck to him and his club... Maybe the Madrid fans are sad, but this club is not defined by players, this club will keep on winning".
"We have played some difficult matches, against City, PSG, and Chelsea, but the toughest still remains and we will give it our all", he continued.
