Still just 19, Mbappe continues to break record after record as his rapid progression shows no sign of abating. His exploits at the World Cup in Russia got everyone talking, but what he did afterwards was a true measure of the man.
Each France player was given a bonus of €20,000 for each victory at the tournament, with an extra €300,000 each for emerging victorious in the final.
That means Mbappe was entitled to some €420,000, all of which he donated to the 'Premiers de Cordée' charity, of which he is a patron.
The goal of the organisation is to give hopitalised children the chance to play sport and in his recent interview with 'Time' magazine, Mbappe explained his decision to donate the eye-watering figure.
"That amount of money won't change my life, but it can change theirs. I earn enough money and I think it's important to help those in need. People like me don't see helping out as an effort," he explained.
