Mbappe 'couldn't care less' about Ballon d'Or
19-year-old Mbappe has played down claims that he could be a contender for the Ballon d'Or.
After winning the domestic treble with Paris Saint-Germain, he's now a key part of France's World Cup final team.
Mbappe has been vital to the French World Cup run, scoring three goals.
During press conferences the young player has been asked a number of times if he thinks he could be in the running for the 2018 Ballon d'Or.
But the PSG man is completely focussed on his team's success rather than his own, telling 'TF1:'
"I couldn't care less about that. I want the World Cup. I want to sleep with it!"
France's only previous World Cup win was in 1998, before Mbappe was even born.
"I wasn't born in 1998, so I have never seen people on the Champs-Elysees celebrating."
"I am going to give everything in this final. We will kill ourselves on the pitch to finish the job."
France will face either England or Croatia in Sunday nights final.
