Mbappe almost isolated in PSG on the fifth anniversary of his Champions League debut

The 27th September is a special date for Kylian Mbappe. On that day, the French forward made his first Champions League appearance for Monaco being just a 17-year-old. He played for 13 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen. 

Today, 27th September, it's the fifth anniversary of Mbappe's first Champions League game. During  2016 , Mbappe played seven minutes more against CSKA Moscow at home and five away. 

It was on the same season, but in 2017 and the last-16 when Mbappe had one of his most memorable performances. He scored his first Champions League goal against Manchester City in a 5-3 defeat, but a 3-1 win took them to the quarter-finals. 

Since that first European goal, he scored or assisted in 12 Champions League games in a row., except for the Champions League semifinals against Juventus. 

In total, 46 games played 27 goals and 16 assists. 

This 'anniversary' comes in a strange moment in Kylian Mbappe's career as his future is still unclear and according to 'L'Equipe', his relationship with the dressing room has been deteriorated due to the arrival of so many Spanish speakers to the team. Pochettino's and Messi's arrival changed his role as the team leader with Neymar. 

Despite being named Ligue 1 player of the month in August, his controversial insinuations on Neymar not passing him the ball when subbed off against Montpellier, bring many doubts among PSG supporters. 

Mbappe will get a chance to revenge PSG's champions league exit last season against Manchester City in the Champions League. Messi could be back for the game.
