"Mazraoui is not suffering from a dangerous illness" - reassures Morocco boss Regragui

Noussair Mazraoui underwent  a minor precautionary corrective procedure on Thursday after experiencing palpitations. The defender withdrew from the Morocco national team as a result, and is expected to be on the sidelines for a prolonged time as he recovers from his condition. 

Nonetheless, Morocco boss Regragui is hopeful that the Man United star could be back to playing before anticipated, as he gave a promising update ahead of the match against Central African Republic on Saturday valid for the World Cup qualification. 

"Noussair Mazraoui is not suffering from a dangerous illness, Inshallah (God willing), he will be with us in the next camp in November," he said. Morocco will go up against Gabon and Lesotho on the 10th and the 18th of November in the next international break.

In the meantime, the 26-year-old will be out for both club and country after starring all seven of Manchester United's Premier League games this season under Ten Hag. Mazraoui's arrival at Old Trafford was crucial with both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia unavailable to the squad.
