There was chaos after Porto took on Sporting. During the whole game sparks flew between the goals given it was a game which could decide the league title, but chaos ensued after the final whistle. There were four red cards and the massive fight overshadowed the end of the game.
It was a rough game as first took on second at the Estadio do Dragao. There were 11 yellows, four for Porto and seven for Sporting. Two of those bookings were for Coates and Sporting played most of the second half with 10 men.
But that was nothing compared to what happened after the final whistle. It all started with a fght between Palhinha and Porto spare goalkeeper Marchesin. The Sporting player slapped the Porto goalie in the face, who went to ground rather easily.
Chaos then ensued. The Porto goalkeeper was furious and a large fight broke out. Even Porto's ballboys got involved.

Four footballers ended up sent off. Palhinha and Marchesin, who started the conflict as well as Pepe and Bruno Tabata. Two players from each team. Otavio of Porto and Reis of Sporting also seemed lucky to avoid red.
Images show a Porto ballboy pushing Reis who then seems to spit back in the ballboy's direction. The game had already seen so bad refereeing decisions and neither of Coates' yellows were fair (the first was actually a foul by Taremi) while Pepe was also unlucky to be booked.
It was a huge fight with led to multiple reds. It remains to be seen whether any further punishments are handed out in what were shameful scenes for Portuguese football.
