Marseille and Milan agree deal for Adrien Rabiot, according to Italian press

According to 'Gazzetta dello Sport' and television channel 'Sky Sport', Milan will pay ten million euros for Rabiot, who is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Lombardy club.

Contacted by 'AFP', Milan has not yet responded. A source familiar with the matter told 'AFP' that the transfer was "almost done".

At Milan, who have moved up to eighth place in Serie A after their 2-0 win at Lecce on Friday, Rabiot would be reunited with Massimiliano Allegri, with whom he has already worked when the Italian coach was in charge of Juventus Turin. 

Allegri demanded the signing of Rabiot after the home defeat against Cremonese (2-1) in the opening game of the Italian league last weekend.

The former PSG player, 30, knows Serie A well, having played there from 2019 to 2024 (157 league games, 18 goals) for Juventus, the last three seasons under Allegri.

Adrien Rabiot was sidelined by the Marseille management after a violent altercation with a teammate (Jonathan Rowe) on 15 August following a 1-0 defeat at Rennes in Ligue 1. 

He no longer trained with Roberto De Zerbi's squad, who lost 1-0 to Lyon on Sunday. Despite this situation, Rabiot has been selected by Didier Deschamps for the first two World Cup 2026 qualifying matches against Ukraine and Iceland on 5 and 9 September.
