Marcos Alonso is back; Ferran close to return

Full-back Marcos Alonso, who underwent lumbar surgery in January, returned to training on Wednesday, with Ferran Torres expected to return immediately.

The player from Madrid has not played since last November and is in the final stages of his recovery. The team is preparing for next Friday's game against Mallorca and the 'Tiburon', who has been injured in his right femoral biceps since the end of January, is expected to return.

Marcos Alonso has hardly featured for Xavi Hernandez this season. He has only taken part in seven games. The former Chelsea player is out of contract at the end of the season and has every chance of not continuing as a Barca player.
