Marco Verratti has been put on the agenda of FC Barcelona. The former PSG player would love to be under the orders of Xavi in the 2024-25 season and has offered himself to the Catalan club.
The midfielder has been on the radar of the 'Cules' on more than one occasion. In the summer of 2017, without going any further, he was on the verge of joining the Camp Nou outfit. Last summer, the Catalan giants were interested in his services, but PSG refused to transfer him.
'Mundo Deportivo' claims that Verratti is liked by the coaching staff because of his vast experience, although he is not a priority for the market. The doubt they have at Barcelona regarding the Italian is whether he would have the level to return to Europe after his time in Qatar.
In any case, if Barca finally decide to sign Verratti, the player would have to make a significant financial effort. In Barcelona they are not ready to break the bank for him, so the midfielder will have to prove that he really wants to be 'Cule' with all the consequences
