Marco Verratti set to leave PSG

It's been a decidedly complicated start to the season for Marco Verratti. Although PSG no longer want him, the Italian is still in negotiations with Qatari club Al-Arabi over a transfer worth an expected €50 million.

According to 'RMC Sport', the Qatari club and the Italian international still have a few details to iron out regarding the terms of his contract. Barring a turn of events, Verratti will indeed be leaving PSG in the next few hours.

The fact that he has not been included in Luis Enrique's squad for the next edition of the Champions League supports the belief that his departure is imminent.

After 11 seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, the third player to have worn the French club's jersey the most (416 matches) is set to leave the club of his life by the back door. At the age of 30, Verratti is set to continue his career in Qatar, despite being targeted by a number of European clubs.
