Marco Reus is one of the stars of Borussia Dortmund after playing for the German side for eleven seasons. His contract expires in June but the 33-year-old does not want to leave his current club.
According to 'Bild', Reus will decide to renew his contract to continue playing at Signal Iduna Park although his salary will be reduced by 50%.
The same media outlet reports that the German player will be paid six million euros instead of twelve million euros. Nevertheless, Reus is negotiating with the board to make the renewal official.
The playmaker has played 19 competitive matches this season, scoring six goals and providing six assists. Edin Terzic's side beat Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
