According to Spanish newspaper 'Marca', Real Madrid have opened disciplinary proceedings against Isco by applying internal club rules for his reaction to being left out for the important Champions League clash. In this sense, the forementioned paper says that the club have decided to punish the midfielder for missing Solari's teamtalk and not going with his teammates on the bus to the Santiago Bernabéu.
The Argentine coach let Real Madrid know about these absences, who then applied internal club rules as they do with any other footballer and in accordance with the disciplinary code, opened the previously mentioned disciplinary proceedings. Although Isco has apologised to his colleagues by using his fractured relationship with Solari as an excuse, Solari went from giving him game time against Barça to leaving him out of the Ajax tie, the club has decided to punish him.
In the meantime, the Argentine manager after being left without possiblities of winning the League, Cup and Champions in six days, publicly criticised the midfielder, justifying his absences in the team squads on his poor fitness and not on the lack of opportunities he has been offered.
"Disciplinary matters are dealt with internally. To play, firstly you have to be firstly be physically fit and then in competitive form, it's non-negotiable," explained the still Real Madrid manager in the press room. Likewise, Solari has hinted that Isco will no longer play for Real Madrid while he is the manager by leaving him out of an injury ravaged squad to travel to Valladolid.
