The future of Mateo Kovacic is close to being resolved. According to 'Marca', Real Madrid and Chelsea are very close to agreeing a loan deal for the Croatian midfielder.
Kovacic, admired by Maurizio Sarri, would be a first team regular at Chelsea. The Croatian claims to have been denied time to prove himself for 'Los Blancos'.
On Monday, Kovacic reportedly decided to train alone at 'Ciudad Deportiva' in order to decide on his future and potentially force an exit.
'Marca' claims that the agreement will be made official in the next few hours and... who knows, perhaps his arrival at Stamford Bridge will form part of a deal to send Thibaut Courtois in the opposite direction.
The Belgian goalkeeper did not train with Chelsea on Tuesday and, with four days left until the Premier League kicks off, appears to have one foot out of Stamford Bridge.
