'Marca': Bale suffers sprained ankle

The newspaper 'Marca' assures that Gareth Bale has very lightly sprained his ankle. Hence he will not be available to play in Real Madrid' La Liga match against Real Valladolid after getting injured in the Copa del Rey match.

The attacker is still not as decisive as expected but injuries haven't allowed him to have the continuity he would have liked either. In this case, it is not a big problem, but it is enough to leave him in the dry dock for another week.

The aforementioned source affirms that it is a very light sprained ankle. Although it is not a major setback, he will have to stay training hard at the training ground to be ready as soon as possible to join Zidane's squad.

In the match against Unionistas in the Copa del Rey, the Welshman was physically annoyed. He scored a goal and didn't even celebrate it: he looked serious and could only play a bit of the second half. So he had to be changed to keep it from getting worse.

It was remarkable that he came out in the second half if he was so hurt. He probably spoke with his manager at the break and told him that he could keep playing for a bit longer. He ended up trying and it didn't go well: he will miss the next game.
