Vinicius made headlines in the Flamengo-Cruzeiro clash. The clash, which ended 1-1, had the Real Madrid player and former 'Mengao' player very present after the racist insults received at Mestalla. Before the match, in the stands, the fans formed the mosaic 'Todos con Vini' (Everyone with Vini) in support of their compatriot.

Flamengo, Brazil's most popular club and one of the favourites for the title, conceded a draw against Cruzeiro at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday that kept them in seventh place in the Brazilian Championship, far from the leaders and failing to convince their demanding fans.

The draw provisionally left Cruzeiro in fifth place in the standings with 13 points, the same as 'Mengao' who are 7th on goal difference.

The fans took advantage of the match to pay tribute to Vinicius, who started his career at Flamengo, with whom they showed their solidarity after the racist insults he has suffered in Spain.

"Everyone with Vini Jr." was the message on a giant mosaic that fans displayed on the stands and on the shirts of Flamengo players.
