It has certainly been a season full of ups and downs for the Senegalese forward Sadio Mane. However, Fabrizio Romano has reported that he wants to stay at Bayern Munich for next season.
After arriving from Liverpool last summer, the forward has managed to play 38 times in all competitions, scoring 12 and getting 6 assists all things considered.
Despite these impressive stats, not all has gone to plan for the ex-Saint. He was suspected of punching teammate Leroy Sane in a dressing room bust-up, landing him a suspension and a hefty fine.
Since then, he has been linked with a move out, with rumours circulating about a behind-the-scenes fall out with the managerial staff. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, nothing could be further from the truth.
He claimed that Mane "wants to stay at Bayern", and that "this will be confirmed to the ‘new board’ too very soon".
