The forward opened the scoring for the 'Reds' in their league match against Bournemouth and with it broke a new record, becoming the highest-scoring Senegalese player in England's top flight's history.
It means Mane overtakes Demba Ba (43) and will look to further add to his tally with four games remaining until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016, scoring 21 times in the league for the 'Saints' before adding another 23 during his spell in Merseyside.
