Manchester United:
Jose Mourinho's side head into the game on Saturday eight points behind local rivals City at the top of the Premier League table, and they will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at Basel in the Champions League during midweek.
United will be without Phil Jones and Eric Bailly but Marcos Rojo could feature after returning from injury in midweek. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not yet ready to start, while Michael Carrick remains sidelined.
Brighton:
The Seagulls have made a steady start to Premier League life and sit in ninth place with 16 points after 12 games. Chris Hughton's side are unbeaten in their last five games, winning two and drawing three.
Beram Kayal has recovered from a broken leg and will travel with the Brighton squad but is unlikely to play.
