Manchester clubs fighting for 75 million pound Ward-Prowse

The 2021-22 season has not finished, but clubs are now preparing for the summer transfer window. Man City and Man Utd are both looking for reinforcements in midfield. 

'The Sun' reports that Ten Hag has now asked the board for the signing of midfielder Ward-Prowse. And, for a while now, Guardiola has become someone who loves this play. "There is no better free-kick taker right now," the Man City boss recently said. 

So, the British paper reports that there could be a fight between the two Manchester clubs for the Southampton footballer. If there is a fight, 'The Sun' reports that his signing could cost up to 75 million pounds.

Man Utd have reportedly given Ten Hag approval. If he wants Ward-Prowse, the club have promised him they will try and sign him. 

The first option for Man Utd was Declan Tice, but it looks like West Ham are not going to let him go. Therefore, future United boss Ten Hag has thought about Ward-Prowse. Despite the fact his price is high, he will cost much less than West Ham, 'The Sun' reports. 

Ward-Prowse has a contract with Southampton until 2026. It remains to be seen what the club say if both Manchester clubs come calling.
