Paul Pogba's future seems to be far from Manchester United, or not so far. In a surprise move, the 'Daily Mail' has reported that Manchester City have made a bid for the French midfielder, whose contract with the Red Devils expires on 30th June.
The 29-year-old would arrive at his current team's rivals to reinforce the midfield. Pep Guardiola would like to have more players in this position after the confirmed departure of Fernandinho at the end of the season.
Although the operation seems far-fetched, it would not be impossible. However, City will have big rivals in the race to sign Pogba, with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus also keen to sign the Russia 2018 World Cup winner.
The media outlet said that Pogba is on a list of reinforcements that City are considering for next season. Although they warn that the Sky Blues would only go for the Frenchman until the end of the season, a fact that is an advantage for the other candidate clubs.
