No signings. Man Utd are not interested in buying players right now. There is something more important than that: getting Paul Pogba to pen a new deal.
According to the 'Mirror', Man Utd have spent all their energy on trying to persuade Pogba. They hope he says yes to a new deal for at least another year, until 2023.
The club's biggest fear is that Pogba leaves for free in summer 2022, which is when his current contract expires. That could happen if he does not pen a new deal and does not leave this summer.
If Pogba left for nothing, that would have a big impact on Man Utd because they are planning to spend big this summer to bring players like Jadon Sancho to the club. They would have to pay Dortmund 81.5 million pounds for him.
