Man Utd are still looking for a new manager for their team after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The English club do not want any old coach. They want a quality manager.
And according to 'The Independent', Diego Simeone is on the list of candidates to take over at Old Trafford despite the Argentine having an Atletico Madrid contract until 2024.
Apparently, according to the cited media outlet, Simeone is one of Ed Woodward's favourite coaches. Woodward is Man Utd's executive vice-chairman.
The Englishman is impressed with Simeone's stats as Atleti coach and he is a great admirer of his work, so they think that he would be an ideal replacement for Solskjaer. That said, it seems more than complicated for Simeone to leave the Wanda.
