Man Utd's third bid for Mason Mount rejected, Chelsea open to face-to-face talks

Manchester United are making it clear they want Mason Mount to be one of their reinforcements for next season, but it seems Chelsea are not going to let him leave so easily.

The Red Devils, after their second bid was rejected by the Blues, decided to make a third offer of £55m for the player. However, against all odds, the Stamford Bridge outfit once again rejected the offer for their midfielder.

Todd Boehly's side have already set the price for the England international at £60m and are unwilling to lower their asking price. According to the 'Daily Mail', Chelsea are reportedly willing to meet the Red Devils face-to-face to reach an agreement and close the deal as soon as possible.

The English player has long been a priority for Erik ten Hag, who sees him as a key player the Mancunian side must bring to Old Trafford to challenge for the Champions League next season.
