Man Utd's Bayindir set to finally make Premier League debut as Onana doubtful

Altay Bayindir joined Manchester United from Turkish club Fenerbache in the summer transfer window along with the arrival of Andre Onana from Inter, to strengthen the Red Devils' goalkeeping after the loss of David de Gea.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper played in Turkey's friendly against Germany last Saturday, replacing Turkish captain Ugurcan Cakir who suffered a foot injury in the 33rd minute of the match.
“He did very well in our games against Germany and Wales. He is a young goalkeeper and I expect and hope that he can get great experience at Manchester United. I hope he can play first-team football which will give him even more experience and then he'll be even better when he comes back to us,” Turkey coach Vincenzo Montella said of Bayindir.
Andre Onana's injury while with Cameroon opens the door for Bayindir on a possible Premier League debut as the 27-year-old Cameroon goalkeeper is a doubt to face Everton, it will remain to be seen whether Erik ten Hag gives his confidence to the former Fenerbache goalkeeper or if he prefers to take a chance on Onana.
