Man Utd prepare to lower asking price for Sancho in Juventus talks

Manchester United have been forced to lower their financial demands for the transfer of Jadon Sancho following Juventus' refusal to pay the £25m initially demanded.
According to Football Italia, the Old Trafford club have accepted that they will not be able to recoup the figure they had set as a minimum to complete the deal.
Sancho arrived in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund for £73m, but his time with the English side has been marked by inconsistency and extra-sporting problems.
Juventus have stepped up contacts with United with the intention of reaching an agreement in the coming weeks, although they remain adamant that they will not go over a certain financial limit.
The 25-year-old English winger is willing to significantly reduce his current salary to sign for the Italian club and has already agreed to a contract worth 8 million euros per year.
Last season, he played on loan at Chelsea, where he registered five goals and ten assists in all competitions. However, the London club opted not to execute a purchase option due to the player's high wage demands.
Juventus are also considering other ways of closing the deal, including a possible swap deal involving players such as Douglas Luiz, Dusan Vlahovic and Timothy Weah, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, but all parties involved agree that the player's willingness to join La Vecchia Signora could facilitate the outcome.
