According to 'Sport', Manchester United are keen to sign Sofyan Amrabat, who is being targeted by Barcelona for the upcoming transfer window.

Barcelona are still looking for Sergio Busquets' replacement for next season. Ilkay Gundogan (Manchester City), Ruben Neves (Wolves), Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad) and Sofyan Amrabat (Fiorentina) are the main contenders.

However, the Morocco international could be dropped from the Catalan giants' agenda as Manchester United are willing to make an offer for him in order to secure his transfer as soon as possible.

According to 'Sport', the Red Devils began negotiations with Fiorentina in the last few hours and Amrabat's signing could become official in the next few days.

The Moroccan would prefer to join Barcelona but they have several problems with La Liga. The midfielder would be keen to wait for the Catalan side to offer him a contract.

We will have to wait and see what happens in the coming weeks but Amrabat is in the spotlight due to his performances for Morocco at the World Cup in Qatar. Fiorentina will only let their man leave for an offer of 40 million euros.
