Man United set to complete Cunha signing as formalities begin

The Brazilian forward, who has enjoyed a standout season with Wolves, is expected to complete a move to Old Trafford as Manchester United aim to trigger his release clause.
The two clubs are in the final stages of ironing out the financial details, with the bulk of the £62.5m fee set to be paid in instalments. Meanwhile, the player's representatives are reviewing a long-term contract that will see the 25-year-old commit to a five-year deal, with the option for a further year.
Cunha had previously attracted interest from Arsenal and was on the radar of several Premier League rivals as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia.
However, the Red Devils have moved decisively, holding talks with the player's camp since April and now closing in on a transfer that could transform their attacking options.
The deal, once concluded, would represent a significant statement of intent from United, who are keen to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
