A year ago, Manchester United took 150 staff to America, including those who worked for the club website and other departments.
This summer, the club have cut this number down but a third, taking 100, in a bid to save money.
According to the 'Daily Mail,' United pay approximately £10,000 for each member of staff to be on the 17-day tour.
It's been reported that some of those people who were axed from the trip were only told last week that they would not be going.

United are trying to keep an eye on expenditure, despite earning a significant sum of money from the International Champions Cup organisers.
Mourinho's side will be touring America, with two games against MLS sides; Club America in Phoenix and San Jose Earthquakes in Santa Clara.
United players and their staff will be staying in Beverly Hills as the squad trains at UCLA, a base which is one of Mourinho's favourites.
United touched down in the US on Sunday, and will continue to train at the university complex, before their first game against Club America.
