Man United ask out-of-favour players to train when their team-mates have left

It is another bizarre story from the summers at Manchester United, a club that is inflexible with those who do not interest it. Being close to leaving the club literally means not seeing your team-mates, as 'The Athletic' published on Monday, pointing out the situation of at least five first-team players of the 'Red Devils'.
The club have informed Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrrell Malacia that they do not count on them and that they will have to sort out their futures outside United. The issue is that while this is happening, they will not be allowed to train with the rest of the squad or have any contact at all inside the Carrington facility.
Although they were allowed to work in the last few days before the start of pre-season, Manchester United have asked the players not to go to training until after 17:00, a time in the afternoon when neither Ruben Amorim nor the rest of the first-team squad will be around.
The Red Devils are due to travel to the United States next week to play in the Premier League Summer Series, a friendly tournament where they will face West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton. At the moment it is not known if any of the five will travel with the rest of the squad, although it seems likely that until they leave, they will remain completely separate from the rest of the squad.
Of these, the players who look most likely to leave are Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho. The Englishman, who spent half a season on loan at Aston Villa, has long been keen on Barcelona, who were also working on Luis Diaz. Meanwhile, the Argentinian-born Spaniard is on Chelsea's radar.
Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho has been linked with Juventus in recent weeks after ending his spell at Chelsea and Real Betis are considering a move for Antony. Malacia, who was on loan at PSV, has no firm plans at the moment. To make matters worse, Axel Tuanzebe has decided to sue United for medical negligence in connection with an injury he picked up between 2022 and 2023.
