Man City: The hosts will be without talisman Kevin De Bruyne after he was ruled out for three months with a knee ligamanet injury, leaving Pep Guardiola with a decision to make in the middle of the park. Fernandinho and Ilkay Gundogan appear set to get the nod, with Starlet Phil Foden made to make to with a place on the bench. Danilo and Eliaquim Mangala will also miss the game, though David Silva could return after sitting out the win over Arsenal last weekend.
Huddersfield: Centre-back Mathias Jorgenson will miss the game due to a muscle injury, with Danny Williams (ankle) and Erik Durm (match fitness) also sidelined. Midfielder Jonathan Hogg is a doubt with a hip problem.
Man City boss Pep Guardiola on Kevin de Bruyne's injury:
"Hopefully in that time he can do as much as possible and when he comes back he can help us again.
"He will be a big miss. Kevin was outstanding last season.
"These long injuries are not wanted but we accept it. It is part of the game."
Huddersfield boss David Wagner:
"The second year is always harder to play in the Premier League. It's always harder to confirm the second year.
"We need to stick together. We know what it means to stay in the league."
