According to the 'Daily Mirror', Manchester City are going to sign David Alaba, 28, who is starting to worry Bayern Munich.
The Austrian international's contract runs until 2021 and he has still not renewed his contract so the Bavarians will have to get him renewed quickly or sell him in the summer. Otherwise, he could leave for nothing.
Guardiola is still interested in Alaba, the reason why Man City will try and get hold of him for next season. According to the cited media outlet, the English club have got a meeting planned with the player to try and convince him.
The defender, who has been linked with clubs like Real Madrid and Barca, is also on the radar of other Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.
That said, PSG are reportedly the front runners and they have begun conversations with Alaba's inner circle to see whether the defender is willing to leave Munich for Paris.
The Austrian is still important for Bayern Munich and this season he has played 38 matches. He has played two goals and two assists.
