Leicester and Algerian fans were left worried after their star player appeared to announce his retirement from football on his official Facebook page.

However, the club has claimed on Wednesday that Mahrez's account was hacked by an unknown individual and believes the post to therefore be "fake".
"I can confirm that Riyad's page was hacked and that the post is not genuine," a spokesman told 'Omnisport'. "We are working with Facebook to have it removed."
Given that the 26-year-old trained with his fellow Leicester teammates on Tuesday, even sharing a photo on his Instagram account, it does seem that it was all a prank and the 'Foxes' fans can rest easy knowing they still have their talisman at the fore.
Leicester's next match is in the Premier League, against bottom-club West Brom on Saturday.
