Scott McTominay last played in United's memorbale match at Elland Road against Leeds. He was not availble in either of Man U's last two games against Atletico and Watford "due to illness", according to the club.
Nevertheless, the Scotsman returned to training this Wednesday and he could be back in the starting lineup for the Manchester derby this Sunday in the Premier League.
The 25 year old centre-midfielder scored a memorable goal against Pep's side in 2020, when the Red Devils overcame their noisey neighbours 2-0 at the Theatre of Dreams.
With this in mind, McTominay could quite possibly return to the starting lineup this weekend and help his team run the middle of the park once again.
Also, Harry Maguire and Jadon Sancho participated in the training session. The pair were on the bench last Saturday against Watford. They will both be hoping for a return to the starting eleven for the big match against City.
The Manchester derby will kick off at 17:30 CET on 6th March. Location: The Etihad Stadium.
