Real Madrid made official their squad list for Sevilla's visit to the Alfredo Di Stefano. Zidane named 20 players to face the Andalusian side.
As the RM boss already confirmed in the press conference, Sergio Ramos hasn't been called up following the relapse that he suffered from his injury. The club published the medical report of the CB, who suffered a tendinosis of the semimembranosus muscle in the left leg.
'Zizou' explained the defender's situation to the press: "I'm not worried about Sergio, my focus is Sunday's match. Unfortunately, he had a bit of trouble with the injury. I hope he gets better as soon as possilbe. He played the other day because he was 100%. After the match he had a niggling pain and, as always, we don't want to risk it".
"He hasn't rushed back. He wants to be with the team and the other day he was 100%. He was ready in training. Then, after 90 minutes in the match, he had a niggling pain. But it's unavoidable. He was the first one to be upset with the news, because he can't play in this final stage of the season as he would have liked", the RM boss added.
Mendy isn't in the squad for their vital game against Sevilla either, joining other absenties Varane and Lucas Vazquez. To cover these losses, Zidane has called up Miguel Gutierrez from the Castilla, who trained with the squad alongside fellow academy graduate Antonio Blanco.
Real Madrid's squad list is as follows: Courtois, Lunin, Altube; E. Militão, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, Miguel; Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco, Blanco; Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Mariano y Rodrygo.
