Mario De Luis said goodbye to Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday with an extensive letter in which he made clear that the club will always be in his heart. The young goalkeeper will embark on a new journey in his still young sporting career.
"It's a complicated day for me. Today I have to say goodbye to what has been my home for the last four seasons. There are many memories, emotions, images of everything I experienced at this club", Mario De Luis started saying.
The youngster thanked Paco Jémez and all his coaching staff for teaching him "what it means to be a professional", as well as all the players from the first-team squad.
According to 'AS', the 18-year-old player will sign for Real Madrid for the next four seasons and will play for the Juvenil A side.
The idea is that he joins in July when the team returns to work to prepare for the UEFA Youth League, which will start on 16th August and who will be managed by Raúl.
With regards to his characteristics, he is a goalkeeper of 1.85 metres who hasn't let in a goal in the Tercera División in the 5 matches he has played for Rayo B.
