Madrid's flight delayed due to stormy weather conditions

Another setback for Madrid in this Club World Cup. The 'Merengues' were stuck at Palm Beach airport due to a storm that was hitting Florida on Tuesday, as reported by the newspaper 'Marca'.
The bad weather forced the whole squad to stay at the airport waiting for the green light to take off for New York, as part of the 'Merengues' duel against PSG in the semi-final to be played at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The Spanish team were due to land in New York in the afternoon to attend all their commitments. However, a storm has delayed everything and cancellations are not ruled out, such as Xabi Alonso's press conference and the media interactions of Thibaut Courtois, Fede Valverde and Jacobo Ramon (early morning Spanish time).
It should be remembered that Madrid were already affected by several delays in the final match of the group stage against Salzburg. It was on the way to Philadelphia (one hour delay) and also on the way back (held up on the bus both at the stadium and at the airport). Despite this circumstance, the clash against PSG is in no danger and will go ahead, as the flight was able to take off late, but without any problems.
