Camavinga was one of the most important players of the season in the truncated Ligue 1 season. The 17 year-old had impressive numbers.
Camavinga has been linked with Real Madrid in recent months and 'RMC Sport' even reported that the Spanish side and the French one had accelerated negotiations over the footballer.
But as days go by, everything has become less certain. Camavinga has serious doubts over his future and he does not know whether to stay or leave Rennes ahead of next season.
What has created doubt in Camavinga's mind is Rennes' possible qualification for the Champions League because the French side will have to play qualifying rounds.
"Camavinga's departure has not been spoken about. There has never been a real interest. Since my arrival, I was clear that we would do it with Camavinga in the project. If Real Madrid offer 80 million euros for him as is being reported, we'll say no. We want to keep him so that he can continue to develop at Rennes," the Rennes president told 'RMC Sport'.
The Rennes youngster is very committed to his team. He was the first to arrive when training resumed and he has stuck to a ten day training plan to improve his fitness. Camavinga is thinking about it.
