Mac Allister: “I’m feeling really good” as he returns for Liverpool pre-season

Alexis Mac Allister has returned to team training with Liverpool during the team's pre-season tour of Japan. The Argentine midfielder had not participated in the last few games of the previous season or in the first friendlies of this summer.
After overcoming his physical problems, the Albiceleste international expressed his gratitude for returning to the group. Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Mac Allister said: “I’m feeling good”.
The player acknowledged that it was a difficult period due to the irregularity of the injury, although they finally found the right treatment.
“It’s hard to explain [the injury] because it’s not just one spot that you say, ‘OK, we have to focus on this.’ It’s like two or three different things that I’ve been struggling [with] for a couple of months,” said the Liverpool player from Tokyo.
The footballer emphasised that his main goal now is to match the physical preparation of his teammates ahead of the official start of the season.
When asked if he will be available for Arne Slot at the start of the season, he replied: “Yeah, hopefully. That’s the idea. I’m feeling really, really good, training with the team and I’m pretty sure I’m going to be fine for the beginning of the season and hopefully for the [Community Shield] as well.”
