Back in November, Nabil Fekir celebrated scoring the fifth goal in a 5-0 thumping of St Etienne by removing his jersey and flaunting it to the opposition fans. His gesture was promptly followed by an enraged pitch invasion from the home supporters which caused the match to come to a temporary halt.
Despite many dubbing it provocative, Fekir told 'Canal+' he was just trying to add a bit of spice to the fixture. "I celebrated like that. There was no ulterior motive, no malice," the Frenchman insisted.
At Lyon's next home game with Montpellier, fans stood in solidarity with their striker, imitating his celebration to torment St Etienne once again.

Now, they've taken it one step further. On Sunday, Lyon supporters added fuel to the fire by displaying an epic tifo of Fekir's infamous celebration. A taunt that triggered haunting flashbacks of the 5-0 bloodbath.
What next for Lyon's faithful? A giant float? An airplane towing a banner? Only time will tell how they top Sunday's stunt which brought the two clubs' rivalry to alpine heights.
