Olympique Lyonnais surprised everyone as they came away with three points from pre-tournament favourites Manchester City. Goals from Maxwel Cornet and Nabil Fekir gave the French outfit a two-goal advantage at half-time, while in the second-half a valiant defensive display meant City could only beat Lopes once in the Lyon goal.
